Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

HomeThis is a featured page

Welcome to CILT Cymru's wiki. This is where we give you tips on how to use new ICT-based ideas to enhance your language teaching. If you've been on a course with us, check the page list on the top left hand side of this wiki to see if the handouts and any other information is there.

Here we will be uploading things, both text and audio, which will serve as examples of what can and can't be done.

Most of the work on this wiki is being done by Kristina Hedges, with help from Ciara Brennan, Nia Gwyn Jones, Carolyn Goodwin and Claire Parry. You can contact any of us via our website at www.ciltcymru.org.uk

We are indebted to the MFL department at the Argoed School, whose fantastic wikis: http://argoedfrench.wetpaint.com; http://mrskfrench.wetpaint.com; and http://cymraegargoed.wetpaint.com inspired this one.

Watch this space for further developments.

As this site is now open to all who join, please be sensitive about any additions or comments you make, as they will be there for all to see. We will endeavour to check the site to remove anything inappropriate as quickly as possible, but if you see anything see anything you have a problem with, please e-mail us, via the CILT Cymru website: http://www.ciltcymru.org.uk/english/contactus.htm

Thanks,
The CILT Cymru Team

CILTCymru Uploading sound files 4 Mar 30 2011, 1:41 PM EDT by virlombardi

As you can see from our attachments, it's really simple to add small sound files to this wiki.

However, when I tried to upload a larger file, I found that there's a limit of 1MB. So I had to create a podcast, which you can hear if you link from the links page (see top right of this page) or from I-Tunes.

So we're learning quickly as we go along.
